NEWS & ACTIVITIES AT HBBC!!!

Recorded MP3 Sermons:  All recorded sermons up to Sun 29th April are uploaded.  The current sermon series is based on the Book Of Exodus.  The latest sermon is on doing things God's Way.  See the Sermon Archive or link from the Pastor's Thoughts page.

Crowning Years:  Our group for the more senior person is meeting at 2pm on Tues 15th May.  There will be a talk by Monica Feltham, and tea and biscuits too!!

The River Praise Service:  Our next music-based service is on Sun 13th May at 6:30pm.  There will be lots of well-known worship songs, plus some that maybe you haven't heard before!!  Come along anyway and join us in worshipping the Lord our God!!

The Lounge-- A Different Sort Of Evening:  We hold a great night once a month in the church hall, where there is live music, interviews, discussions… and oh yes!!  Coffee, tea and cakes!!  Next session is Sun 20th May at 6:30pm.



Who We Are
A very warm welcome to the Herne Bay Baptist Church web site.

We are a loving and diverse community in the heart of Herne Bay town centre who are united in our love for Jesus Christ and His gift of salvation, allowing us all to have a relationship with God The Father, in the power of His Holy Spirit.

We aim to provide a warm and welcoming place where newcomers and "regulars" alike can come and worship God together and feel they are valued.  We want people to feel at home here and be able to join in with us in our various activities.

The following mission statement was agreed by the church in February 1998:
"The mission of Herne Bay Baptist Church is to take the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to all who are outside of the Christian Church with the aim that they become his loyal disciples."

Membership of the church is through believer's baptism. Communion is open to all who love the Lord Jesus as Saviour.

We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB).
