NEWS & ACTIVITIES AT HBBC!!!

Coffee Anyone?  The Reflections Café is open for business from 10:30am to 12pm on Fri 27th Jan, and every Friday.  Just pop in for a great selection of cakes, many of them homemade.

Bible Study While You Have Lunch!!  Fri 27th Jan at 12:45pm is when we have our lunchtime Bible study in the church hall.  Anyone can come, and you get free soup and a roll.

Messy Church:  The first family-friendly session for 2012 is on Sat 4th Feb from 4pm to 6pm.  There is LOADS of family craft, songs, a short talk and we end up with a supper so you don't have to cook when you get home!!

The River:  Join us for our monthly praise service on Sun 5th Feb at 6:30pm.  This is a change to the usual date of the second Sunday of each month.
We have a wonderful congregation who always join in enthusiastically with the 5 piece band of guitars and drums, making it a great night of worship.


Who We Are
A very warm welcome to the Herne Bay Baptist Church web site.

We are a loving and diverse community in the heart of Herne Bay town centre who are united in our love for Jesus Christ and His gift of salvation, allowing us all to have a relationship with God The Father, in the power of His Holy Spirit.

We aim to provide a warm and welcoming place where newcomers and "regulars" alike can come and worship God together and feel they are valued.  We want people to feel at home here and be able to join in with us in our various activities.

The following mission statement was agreed by the church in February 1998:
"The mission of Herne Bay Baptist Church is to take the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to all who are outside of the Christian Church with the aim that they become his loyal disciples."

Membership of the church is through believer's baptism. Communion is open to all who love the Lord Jesus as Saviour.

We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB).
